Bow Before You Pass Through The Door

Bow before you pass through the door.
Do you think it trivial?
Worthless?
A waste of time and blood?
I can see your swollen lip.
Indeed I watched as you ran and fell into the wall.
I understand your pain.
But do not pity.
Just as I walk slowly with you.
It is not my eyes that see me as humongous.
It is not my body that makes me so.
You see my spirit, and it is what I present to your eyes.
Walk with me now. Walk to the door.
And bow.
Do not feign ignorance.
You know the mathematical way.
The forty-five degree bend of the waist.
So go now,
And bow before you pass through the door.
