I am a grad student, which is a special type of person 
having more brains than common sense, more reprints 
than money, and a lab for a home. It's actually kind of nice. 
 I am a big nerd about bugs  and their evolutionary & biogeographic 
patterns, particularly those of the camiarine and leiodine 
genera Agyrtodes and Aglyptinus, respectively.  (full c.v. and

I work over in  this lab at UC Berkeley, where
 much interesting arthropod systematics research is going down 
(despite ongoing and frequently vitriolic disputes over whether
 adephagan beetles are, in fact, inherently more awesome than polyphagan beetles)

 
 
Most of the art in the arty sections of this website is from a variety of lectures
and seminars; it's just a hobby, but if you're interested in trades or 
collaborations  do write. )
