Blade of the Immortal is my favorite manga. Well, ok, it's the only one I've read, but it's one of the best things I've ever read. This is the main character. A note about the background: Blade of the Immortal makes extensive use of the swastika as a Buddhist symbol, and it is the symbol of the main character. But I can't quite separate it from the more well-known negative connotations despite knowing all the good associated with the symbol. I was going to draw a swastika on the back wall, but just couldn't do it. So you only see part of it.
