Collections >> Layers in Motion >>
|
This collection is probably my favorite photographs that I've taken. When I took the photos, at first glance I thought they were crap, but I was listening to Aphex Twin's Film while editing and I viewed the photographs as if it were part of the music. While the first photo was fairly easy to edit, the second took a while due to all the different layers. Quite a bit of time spent all together, but well worth it.

Watching Over Tears >>
| Photographed in the town of Millburn, the first jpeg is a grave of one entire family from the 1800's. The photograph came out better than expected, considering the location. The angel I shot is the only one in the entire graveyard. It's almost as if this lone angel is watching over tears.

Summer to Remember >>
| To get these 3 shots I had to be some what of a rebel. The property is private, but you can drive on this little paved trail that leads to these lush woods and sky blue lake. The last picture was taken around the same time as the first two, but I took a photo of some clouds and layered it onto the last photo. Neat, huh? ^^

Deep in the Woods >>
| One day during the summer, I was trying to capture some real nice nature photographs. I found a dog walking trail that requires a permit to enter. As usual, being my rebel self, I had decided to check it out anyway. 3 nice photos from my adventure. I'll have to go back there someday.

Reviving the Dead >>
| Last year I took a 4 hour drive around the area, and came to this little town called Millburn. This house was built in 1862, I believe. When I took a closer look, the house had no life to it. It's very old and obviously no one lives in it anymore, but it's almost as if the leaves are keeping the house alive.

The Season that Falls >>
| During the fall of 2000, I needed a few photographs for my display in October. I visited to a few farms where they sell pumpkins, corn, and other halloween goods. Went to about 5 different places, and got 3 quality photographs. The folks who let me take the photos were very nice. I was actually surprised that they didn't mind at all.

Entrance to Heaven >>
| These photographs were a last minute thing. When I got home one afternoon, I ran into the house to grab my camera to take photos of this amazing sun set (or more like soon to be.) Some of the clouds don't look real, but they are. It's almost if the clouds are opening up an entrance to heaven.

Comely Small Town Girl >>
|
One of the ideas I had was taking some black and white pictures, with selective color of a person. My friend Shannon was happy to help out with my project. We spent an hour and a half taking photos. Out of those 84 shots, I picked out the best ones. I have about 25 good photos, most are just the same shots, but at different angles. The finished product is something I'm very proud of.

introduction
Welcome to my digital portfolio. Browse the sections below to view my digital photographs and digital works. I feel I can show people the world through my eyes. People view things differently, and looking at the ocean side for one person might be a totally different experience for the next. This is the way I look at things when I take every one of my photos.
