Legend has a lot of epic elements in it, one of which is the hoard of characters to keep track of.Nea'sSharmInhuman
She's the magical equivalent to a scientist, and is always trying out a new spell, though you only see it when she succedes. She was originally born human, but due to an odd series of events and a vision by Eriv, she was turned into something very similar to a Fey. Sharm has an open nature and heart, but in action she is very secretive, mostly because she has a hard time distiguishing important information from the uninportant. She is a very powerful witch in her own right, and is not half bad at Fey magic either. She tends to forget about her secondary magic when in a stressful situation, and falls back on human tatics.Titania traded her son Kyre for her when they were both small. Sharm met her parents after growing up with the Fey. Living among more powerful beings was difficult, and it made her a little bitter. She did have some friends though, one of which was a fey named Nist. While growing up her name was Isabel Clucas, but when changed she took on her current name. KyreSeelie
Kyre was based origionally on Puck, and is Oberon and Titania's son. He has a very temporary nature. He's increadibly smart, so often gets bored with things very quickly. He knows a bit about everything, but hasn't mastered anything. Dispite getting bored with people the easiest, he's still increadibly loyal. You may not see him for long periods of time, but his friendship is forever. He has an interesting habit of changing faces and personalities to each place he visits. Some places he will take multiple forms. Those who know him in reality veiw him as a bit of a womanizer. In the story, Kyre takes the form of a noble in Zondrak's court. He knows that something there is more than what it seems, and has decided to watch over the royal family. Kyre HumanHumanSharm Human
She's been Sharm's friend as long as she can remember. Treyva is human, and can't actually cast magic. She does, however, have a nack for manipulating spells already cast. She's also fairly decient with a sword, and is quick to observe things that don't belong.
Zondrak is the Prince Regent of . . . the country . . . where the story takes place. *clears throat and tries again*. Since his father fell ill when Zondrak was still young, he has developed some rather serious issues with insecurities, but hides it behind an overbearing, manipulive nature. He married young, his overdeveloped sense of responsibilty driving him to provide an heir to a kingdom without a king. His wife, a timid and quiet sort, died shortly after childbirth. Leaving care of his son to tutors and bodyguards, Zondrak is concentrating now on finding a wife whose political connections will keep the countries at his borders from attacking. He's a little clueless when it comes to real people. Despite his father's improved political system, Zondrak was tutored on the history of other nations, and leans on those teachings as opposed to his father's example. Zondrak's initial attraction to Treyva begins during her various plans and subterfuges that manuver him into spending time with his son. Over time he learns more about himself and his people, enabling him to abandon his manipulations for honesty with his people and himself.
AlexHumanPrince Alex is a sweet boy who feels abandoned by his father. He also has a surprising mischevious streak. KayvairHumanLexHuman
Noan brings to mind streangth, power, and wisedom. He's the sort who doesn't say much, but when he does, everyone listens. Noan takes his time with every decision, but he is failable. He has the deep emotions of a tragic hero. Noan left the Fey island before the split to live among humans. He eventually becomes the king of a large country where the story begins. Because of an Unseele plot, Noan was trapped in a magical sleep, and no one knows how to unravel the spell. Noan's "sickness" leaves the kingdom, once separate city states ruled by their own princes and now demoted to dukes and counts, weakened. In danger from greedy monarchs on its borders, and opportunistic courtiers within.
