Deither Sterlan

Deither is the first main character introduced. He's known to most everyone to be an alien, but he doesn't look it. He has skin that could be dark in color, or just tanned that way, and the rest of his coloring is black. (Black eys, black hair.) Although he tends to wear black too, he doesn't go for the goth thing. He wears a chain with a black heart and a blue key dangling from it, but it's usually under his clothing. Deither has a morbid sense of humor, expecially if it concerns him. Josh thinks it's a copeing mechanism. Deither has no personal memories, and other memories are fragmented as well.

He is found early on near a crashed spaceship, badly hurt but healing rapidly. Josh and Tammy discover that he has a colony style symbiot living in his blood that helps with healing and other things. Tammy gives him the name Dan. Deither soon becomes part of their mission. He apparently has had training in spy stuff before, because there is actually very little he has to learn before doing secret missions alone.

Deither knows English, but obscure or culturally sensitive words and phrases are lost on him. His technical knowledge is great, but when it comes to individual items (like a radio for example) he is clueless. Deither is also amazingly strong and agile, able to push his boundaries farther than a human would. If I decide to go with the magic like powers, his would be fire based. He would have to touch anything he wanted to affect, and he wouldn't like to use it much.

SPOILER: Deither is really a secret agent from his home planet as well, sent on a mission to scout out this planet and find the other missing scouts that were sent first. He and his Fiance` were attacted on arrival, and he nearly died during the crash, which is where his memory problem started. Deither remembers only one thing from that, and it's his Fiance`'s eyes. He mistakes Tiam as the girl in his memory, but neither have much time to talk during their meetings. . ml>
